Black on Black - still shining bright

All black? yes!!!
because even when it's lack-luster you can still shine.

how to wear all black, black on black, best way to wear all black
There are times I wish I had a rainbow of accessories to pick from.
Outfits that just seem incomplete without the pop of color, touch of sparkle.
Looks that could be more pulled together by coordinating and contrasting elements of bangles and other various jewels.

When wearing black on black it's easy to feel you must accessorize with pops of color. And while a statement piece or layer of color could be considered necessary, I feel mixing textures with lace, did the trick.

In the end...the beauty, the completeness of an outfit, the pop and shine really come from within.
If you're looking for the perfect accessory remember that a smile is truly the best of finishing touches.
And always....Wear Your Confidence.

These things can't be found on a shelf. They wear no price tag.
Even dressed in black from head to toe, you can still walk in and light up a room :)

Let your light shine....stay pretty.

How do you feel about black on black and LBD's?

Ever felt like your outfit was missing something?
What are your must have accessories?

as for yesterdays trick question....
I'm obsessed with Bickram Yoga, love a good sweat session and stretch! ....was a total lie!
I'd love to try it, just haven't yet!

I think black on black looks great as long as the clothes themselves stand out a little..just like that gorgeous top!

You do look great in that outfit! I wear black on black all the kind because it's my school's dress code, but I rarely get "creative" with it.

Really cute... You remind me of Claire Danes! Love her!
I also believe you can light up a room in anything you wear as your true light comes from God/Jesus within.

Love this look on you! The lace is beautiful. When I do black on black, I usually accessorize with a necklace, but still tend to keep it fairly low-key (usually a metallic, not a bright color) so that it doesn't overpower the look.

Love the outfit! I think black on black is okay, I would go with some dramatic earrings maybe to spice it up a little :)

I would love to have tons of accessories to choose from every day! That would be amazing. But I totally agree that the shine should come from within - and yours definitely does!!! I love the black on black with the gold! I want your bracelets and your top!

Love the black on black since you have the lace on top. I think the texture is what makes the outfit and the simple accessories are perfect.

My must-have accessory is a bracelet, usually a chunky bangle that is wayyyy too big for me. And, I get pretty much most of my stuff at a $1 jewelry shop close to my house, it's AWESOME. I have glittery ones, shiny, lace-covered, beads, silver bangles, just all sorts. Love it!

I agree with you, though, you don't always have to have color, sometimes just a change of texture -- which is not something I'm good at putting together!
