High Five for FRIDAY

I'm giving a huge High Five to this Friday! Why?!
Because Hubby and I are kid free for the weekend! And I get to play dress up for him :)

Linking up again with Lauren for High Five for Friday....

1// Keeping with the Healthy Holiday theme from last week!  Hope you are too :)
And...not missing a cheesy photo 'op! duh!?!

2// My first "handmade" ornament from Landon! How very awesome! I have so many ornaments from Lance as he was growing up and now it's time to start that tradition again, with Landon. How could you not love the sticky, still go-ey ornaments from your kids?!

3// We went out to the "country" as I call it (really it's not, it's about 15 miles west of the city) for a holiday, family get together. The boys played in the open air and I did my best to capture each memory.

4// This bag means one thing only! I'm packing and leaving town!!
How many outfits can you fit in your weekend bag? How many outfits do you take for a weekend?
And shoes ?!? let's not even talk about how many shoes I think I need for a weekend. At least, I know what I'm wearing Saturday night!

5// Chips Ahoy. A big mystery subject matter in my house. I buy those for my 3 L's but I really look forward to having a few during the week. I seriously avoid them until I can't any longer and when I reach for one and the bag is empty, well, I get kinda pissy. And no one will fess up to eating them all. We're talking 3 days and they're all gone. So I got smart, I hid them and rationed out 2 to each little L after dinner. But I mistakenly told my husband about the hiding spot and tonight I went for my little treat and the damn thing was empty! Busted Mr. Lucas...you are the cookie eater. As his defense, we had to count the slots in the tray and do the math. Basically they're aren't as many cookies in there as I thought. But still! I didn't get my cookie! such a riot.

Take a moment to reflect on the big and small things that make your week more beautiful.

  1. Three days for a bag of cookies is pretty good. In my house they would last about three minutes, so they never cross the threshold!
